PLEASE NOTE - I Have A New Photoblog

At last I've managed to find a suitible (read free) place to setup a proper Photoblog.

It's on a website called 'fotix.net' . I've had the account for a few weeks now and so far I'm very pleased with the service offered.

You can view my photoblog by clicking here or by using the link in the 'Links' side bar of this blog.

I am very much looking forward to receiving all your comments. Hint, hint!

Regards

Smudge Down-Under

Smudge Down-Under, originally uploaded by Trance-Elbow.

This is yet another photo of our fourth family member, Smudge. She was actually number three in the house, but was relegated to fourth by our Son.

She was laying on one of our dining chairs patiently waiting for our dinner to be served. That's our dinner, not hers. Needless to say She didn't get any.

Wood Pigeon Nesting

Wood Pigeon Nesting, originally uploaded by Trance-Elbow.

We have an Elderberry tree in our garden and this Wood Pigeon has taken up residence in it. We wouldn't know it was there at all if we hadn't spotted it collecting nesting materials from the garden.

I saw this fellow laying on a sandwich board sign at the Crawley Festival. He looks a little sad.

Leith Hill Tower, Surrey

Leith Hill Tower, Surrey, originally uploaded by Trance-Elbow.

This was taken inside Leigh Hill Tower, Surrey on a recent visit. I like the way the light catches the worn stone steps.

Ringed Dove

Ringed Dove, originally uploaded by Trance-Elbow.

Another regular in the garden. It can often be found perching on the washing line post, which we called our 'Pigeon Post'. This was until we discovered it was a Ring Dove and not a Pigeon after all.

Bumble Bee, originally uploaded by Trance-Elbow.

This chap and many of his mates are regular visitors to my garden. He's taking a closeup look at my Wild Geraniums.
